About the Role
As a Learner Experience Officer (LEO), you will play a vital role in supporting learners throughout their educational journey, from admissions to ongoing support, ensuring a positive and inclusive experience. You will gain practical experience in admissions, enrolment, and frontline customer service at reception desks and learner support hubs. Your duties will include assisting learners with digital systems, handling enquiries, issuing certificates and ID badges, and managing records. You will also be responsible for opening and closing learning centres, including managing alarms and securing the building. Structured training will be provided to maintain high standards of service delivery. Additionally, you will act as a Fire Marshall and First Aider, requiring flexibility to manage changing priorities.
You will contribute ideas to improve learner experience, development, and progression, while maintaining a broad knowledge of academic departments and available courses. Collaboration with admissions, learner support, and academic teams is key, within a culture that values professionalism, mutual support, and high-quality service. Experience
Previous experience working with adults in a front-facing role providing outstanding customer service is essential. Experience in Adult Education is desirable. You should have supported people in using digital platforms and be familiar with self-service customer database and record systems.
