£23,477 – £24,657 per annum (pro-rata), inclusive of London weighting
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our ALS department. You will support learners with a range of educational needs, helping them develop practical and academic skills, including during trips and visits. The role involves building positive relationships with learners and colleagues while providing tailored support strategies that help students achieve their full potential. You will work both independently and as part of a team, adapting support approaches to meet learners’ changing needs.

Experience
Experience working with young people, ideally those with additional learning needs. Experience supporting learners with additional needs such as autism and/or social, emotional and mental health needs is desirable.
About you
An empathetic, patient and confident individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to provide personal care support, including toileting and administering medication where required, following appropriate training.
Qualifications
Good general education including GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent). Good IT skills. Enhanced DBS check and other safeguarding employment checks will be required as part of the recruitment process.
