About the Role
Southwark College, part of the NCG Group, is seeking to recruit a Learning Support Worker to join a large team based at our Southwark College site. The successful candidate will provide in-class support for learners with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), including note taking, prompting, and assisting students with classroom tasks to enable access to teaching, learning, and assessment. You will create, adapt, and use a range of resources and strategies to meet learners' needs, including e-resources, assistive technology, and adapted equipment. Additional responsibilities include supervising learners on arrival, during lunchtimes and breaks, ensuring their safe departure, and supporting learners off-site during trips, travel training, and work placements. You will also keep accurate records of learner needs, progress, and achievement of learning targets. Experience
Previous experience working with learners with additional needs or in an educational support role is desirable but not essential. Enthusiasm and a commitment to supporting learners are key.

Qualifications
