About the Role
Lewisham College is seeking a dedicated and qualified Lecturer in Bricklaying to deliver and assess high quality learning programmes in Construction across various further education levels and apprenticeship provisions. The role includes programme leadership, tutorial support, and programme administration duties. The successful candidate will join a well-motivated, cohesive, and successful team within a respected Construction department that values collaboration and delivering excellent outcomes for all stakeholders.

Experience
Proven professional and vocational expertise in Bricklaying within the Construction sector. Experience of effective programme leadership in further education and/or apprenticeships is desirable. A proven track record of successful teaching and assessment practice is preferred.

Ability to self-manage workload and meet deadlines. Strong oral and written communication skills alongside good IT skills are essential. Enthusiastic and committed to delivering high quality education.

Qualifications
Qualified to the industry-recognised standard in a relevant field. Must hold a post-16 teaching qualification. English and maths qualifications at Level 2 are required or willingness to achieve these within an agreed timeframe.
