The purpose of this post is to teach on a variety of travel and aviation courses within the programme area and to support the Curriculum and Quality Team Manager in developing further travel and aviation courses.
We are committed to safeguarding our students and maintain a strong focus on their safety through safe staff recruitment and suitability checks for those working with young students or vulnerable adults.
Eligible further education (FE) teachers may claim a targeted retention incentive payment for teaching specific courses. This post qualifies for eligibility, with payments ranging from £2,000 to £6,000 for the 2025 to 2026 academic year, paid as a lump sum. To claim, you must be within the first five years of your FE teaching career, having started your first FE teaching role at a post-16 education provider in England during or after the 2021 to 2022 academic year.

Requirements

Experience
Experience teaching travel and aviation courses or related subjects in a further education setting is desirable. A commitment to supporting diverse learners and contributing to course development is essential.

Qualifications
