The purpose of this post is to teach on a variety of travel and aviation courses within the programme area and to support the Curriculum and Quality Team Manager in developing further travel and aviation courses.

Eligible further education (FE) teachers may claim a targeted retention incentive payment ranging from £2,000 to £6,000 for teaching specific courses, payable as a lump sum. To qualify, you must be within the first five years of your FE teaching career, having started your first FE teaching role at a post-16 education provider in England during or after the 2021 to 2022 academic year.

Requirements

Experience
Experience teaching travel and aviation courses or related subjects in a further education setting is desirable. Experience in curriculum development and quality assurance is advantageous.
