About the Role
Join Southwark College, part of NCG, as a Lecturer in Young ESOL and make a meaningful impact on the lives of 16-18 year old learners from diverse backgrounds. You will teach ESOL courses aimed at linguistic development, empowerment, and integration as part of the 16-18 Study Programme. Based at a modern, well-equipped campus near Waterloo Station, you will be part of a large ESOL team dedicated to delivering high-quality education.
Your key responsibilities will include planning and delivering inclusive, engaging lessons using a variety of teaching methods and tools; developing Schemes of Learning, lesson plans, teaching materials, and immersive learning experiences; assessing student work and providing constructive feedback; and contributing to curriculum development and quality assurance processes. You will also support learner development through tutorials and pastoral care, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with colleagues and external partners to enhance the learner experience.

Experience
- Experience teaching ESOL or working with young learners is desirable but not explicitly stated as essential.
