About the Role
You will be accountable for the maintenance of the Cellar department and Stores rooms at the National Theatre. This includes implementing and ensuring compliance with stock control procedures, managing line cleaning, deploying and training staff, overseeing stock rotation, and maintaining disposables and chemical stocks. You will liaise closely with the National Theatre Food and Drink departments to ensure stock and equipment needs are met, oversee all food, beverage, disposable and chemical orders, and maintain excellent communication with departments requiring support. You will lead the team in preparing stock levels and storerooms for peak and off-peak periods, including key calendar dates such as seasonal events and school holidays, ensuring lead times and stock choices are communicated effectively. Additionally, you will utilise supplier relationships to procure product samples. This role requires strong leadership and operational skills to maintain smooth logistics and stock management within a busy venue environment.

Experience
Proven experience in stock control, team leadership, and logistics management within a busy operational environment is desirable. Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, Food Safety, and COSHH is essential. Experience with EPOS systems such as Goodtill and Food Buy is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications
Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification is required. Awareness of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations is essential.
