About the Role
The National Gallery is seeking a Technical Project Lead to oversee the delivery of two transformative, multi‑million‑pound projects: a state-of-the-art Research Centre and a landmark new wing. You will lead the technical oversight of complex MEP building services, ensuring high-quality, sustainable, and compliant design delivery within a historic, publicly accessible environment. This role requires strong leadership to manage the technical aspects of these significant developments, maintaining the Gallery’s standards and heritage while driving innovation and excellence.
Experience
Proven experience in leading technical delivery of complex MEP building services projects, ideally within historic or publicly accessible environments. Demonstrated ability to manage multi-million-pound projects and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
About you
Strong leadership and communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Commitment to sustainability and compliance in building services design. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and maintain high standards in a sensitive heritage context.
Qualifications
Relevant technical qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering or related disciplines. Professional memberships or certifications in project management or building services engineering are desirable.
