About the Role

As an MES Engineer, you will provide a range of engineering support functions to facilitate Managed Equipment Service operations, ensuring Siemens Healthcare meets its contractual obligations aligned with the Company's values. Your main responsibilities will include investigating and diagnosing faults on a wide range of medical equipment, carrying out repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), performing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) as scheduled, and conducting acceptance testing and commissioning of new, loan, and trial equipment following MHRA guidelines. You will also maintain compliance with quality, health and safety standards, actively seek process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost savings, manage data entry within the Siemens asset database (EAM), assist with annual equipment inventories and audits, and participate in relevant training courses and meetings. Other duties may be assigned as required to meet operational needs.

Experience
Proven post-qualification work experience within a Managed Equipment Services (MES) or EBME workshop in a hospital environment is essential.

About you
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Sound knowledge of engineering principles and their practical application.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office packages and service management software.
Understanding of working to service level agreements and customer satisfaction targets.
Motivated to engage in continuous learning and personal development.

Qualifications
Degree or HNC in Electronics, Medical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline, or equivalent qualification or experience.
Willingness to undertake extensive product and personal training opportunities.
