About the Role
This leadership role oversees critical supplier portfolios, managing hardware testing, deployment, and new device launches across Amazon Fulfillment IT. You will lead a team of supply chain professionals, building and developing a high-performing team through coaching, mentoring, and career development aligned with Amazon's leadership principles and organizational goals. Key responsibilities include supplier relationship management, performance monitoring, capability development, capacity planning, and risk mitigation. You will collaborate with IT hardware engineering, technical operations, and product management teams to develop product roadmaps and lifecycle plans. The role requires creating efficient forecasting and capacity planning mechanisms for new and existing products, driving team accountability for supplier scorecards, conducting quarterly business reviews, and addressing supply issues. You will oversee manufacturer and supplier reviews to ensure costs align with business objectives and meet cost avoidance goals. Additionally, you will guide your team in defining and delivering global solutions that improve supply chain speed and scalability. This role involves establishing and developing the new Supplier Performance Management team, creating strategies to manage product quality, supply risk, delivery performance, supplier data management, and compliance. You will develop tools to collect, measure, and report supplier metrics, enhance supplier scorecards, engage with other leaders to improve supply chain processes, and manage day-to-day escalations and prioritization of at-risk product orders. Staying informed of changing business requirements and market conditions impacting supplier performance is essential. You will also perform spend analysis, prepare financial models, identify opportunities, and present business cases and recommendations to internal partners, acting as a strategic consultant to support business goals and drive value.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Preferred: Master's degree or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design, or related field
- Experience leading process improvements is a plus
