About the Role
Join our creative team as a Midweight Designer! We are seeking a talented designer with a strong foundation in design, passionate about either Data Visualisation—making complex health data accessible and beautiful—or Designing for Motion, building visual narratives through storyboarding and asset creation for dynamic animation and social content. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse client portfolio, from pharmaceutical giants to innovative health tech startups, translating intricate health and scientific data into engaging and accessible visual experiences. You will play a key role in shaping how critical healthcare information is communicated, making a meaningful impact in the sector.
You will collaborate closely with strategists, medical writers, art directors, and account teams to conceptualise and develop innovative visual solutions for healthcare campaigns and projects. Your work will involve developing visual narratives that simplify complex information for audiences ranging from healthcare professionals to patients and the public. You will transform scientific data into compelling design, ensuring all outputs align with client brand guidelines and Ogilvy’s high creative standards. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) is essential, with additional skills in After Effects or Figma considered a plus. Staying current with trends in data visualisation, design, and healthcare communications will be key to bringing fresh ideas and innovation to the team. You will actively participate in brainstorming sessions, present concepts internally and to clients, and iterate designs based on feedback.
Benefits & Culture
At Ogilvy Health, you will be part of a non-hierarchical, eclectic team committed to doing the best work of our lives. Beyond client projects, you can engage with vibrant culture and social teams and contribute to DEI initiatives championing diversity across the agency and industry. Benefits include 25 days annual leave with the option to purchase up to 5 extra days, your birthday off, and a paid volunteering day; generous enhanced parental leave policies; a robust pension scheme with up to 17.5% total contributions after probation; choice of private medical cover, dental cover, or a monthly £45 leisure allowance for health and wellbeing; an Employee Assistance Programme offering support, advice, and specialist counselling; quick, free access to remote GP, mental health support, physio, or medical second opinions; free 1-2-1 coaching for professional or personal growth; and a comprehensive Learning & Development programme to support your career trajectory.
