About the Role
A midweight integrated designer at Small Axe is part of our campaigns delivery team. In this role, you'll work collaboratively with campaigners, digital experts, designers, press advisors, filmmakers and content creators to produce powerful campaigns. You will contribute across a variety of campaigns, from trade union actions like Amazon’s first unionisation drive in the UK, to issue-based campaigns such as Free School Meals for All and Refugees Welcome, to large-scale public mobilisation events like the Together Alliance March. At your core, you are a campaigner, but your tools include InDesign, Illustrator, Canva, Veed.io and anything else you can use to create compelling content that moves people to act on the most pressing issues of our time. There is no magic formula for a winning campaign, which is why we use multiple crafts and tactics to advance our campaigns. We are at our best when working across our three core disciplines – organising, digital and creative – to make maximum impact. Your ability to understand and integrate ideas across these disciplines will equip you to respond to any strategic challenge. As an integrated designer, you will join a multidisciplinary and highly collaborative delivery team focused on winning progressive campaigns.
Please note: All candidates must have the Right to Work in the UK. Small Axe is a full-time office-based organisation with a remote working allowance. If you are successful in getting this job, Small Axe requires a DBS check.
