About the Role
A rare term-time only mini-bus driver opportunity at a nurturing secondary school. Lift Broadlands is a small, mixed, fully inclusive comprehensive school for students aged 11-16, located near Bath and North East Somerset with excellent transport links to Bristol and surrounding areas. The school is led by Principal Laura Stone and is rated 'Good' by OFSTED. As a mini-bus driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, ensuring seatbelts are worn, supervising safe boarding and alighting, and enforcing a one-person-per-seat rule. You will carry out daily vehicle checks including first aid kit and fire extinguisher presence, weekly maintenance such as washing and fluid level checks, refueling, and ensuring vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness. In the event of a breakdown, you will remove occupants to safety following Health & Safety procedures. You will promote safeguarding and welfare of children and young persons, maintain professional attendance, punctuality, and appearance, and develop excellent working relationships with residents, staff, pupils, contractors, and guests.

Experience
Valid driving licence with experience driving larger vehicles in a customer-facing role, ideally with community groups, schools, or sports clubs.

Qualifications
