About the Role

Your work will span the full AI lifecycle, including research into machine learning, generative AI, and large language models, as well as software engineering, solution architecture, MLOps, and deployment.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, researchers, and cyber specialists to transform innovative ideas into secure and resilient capabilities. As your expertise grows, you will provide technical advice across public and private sectors, engage with leading technology companies, and potentially influence technical strategy and decision-making on complex, mission-critical challenges.

This role offers the opportunity to be part of one of the most significant technological shifts of our time within the UK’s National Technical Authority for cyber security. You will continually explore emerging AI technologies, develop new skills, and apply your expertise to keep the UK safe in an evolving cyber threat landscape.

GCHQ and NCSC provide a supportive and inclusive working environment that values teamwork, innovation, and professional development, enabling you to flourish and perform at your best.
