About the Role
We are seeking a New Work Production Assistant to join the National Theatre New Work Team. You will work alongside another Production Assistant supporting a wide range of duties including administration such as processing invoices and credit card returns, as well as production and technical queries for workshops and artists at the NT Studio. The role also involves operational responsibilities including leading on opening and closing the building and welcoming artists at the Studio reception. This busy position intersects with all areas of the New Work Department and other National Theatre departments, offering a varied and dynamic working environment.

The successful candidate will be a key point of contact, providing a professional and adaptable welcome to artists and visitors, and supporting the smooth running of technical and production activities.

Requirements

Experience
Demonstrable experience in production, stage management, and technical theatre. Ability to independently set up technical equipment for workshops, readings, and explorative environments. Experience providing a personable, professional, and adaptable welcome in a theatre or similar arts venue.

About you
An excellent collaborator who works well as part of a team. Able to prioritise multiple tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines. Strong administration and IT skills with great attention to detail, respecting confidentiality and discretion. Confident verbal and written communication skills, able to engage with people from diverse backgrounds and skill sets.

Qualifications
