Salary
£15.00 – £17.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

About the Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will support children aged 0–5 in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. You will deliver engaging activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and assist with daily routines including play, feeding, and hygiene. Promoting children’s development, independence, and well-being will be a key part of your role. You will maintain a clean, safe, and inclusive setting while working collaboratively with staff and communicating effectively with parents when required. Following safeguarding procedures and reporting any concerns appropriately is essential to this role.

Experience
Minimum 3–6 months recent experience in a nursery or childcare setting is required. Experience working with children aged 0–5 is preferred.

About you
You should have a positive, reliable, and proactive attitude with a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential. You will also need to provide 3 references.

Qualifications
Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification is required, or relevant experience for unqualified candidates. Safeguarding Children Level 2 qualification is preferred (can be provided once registered). Paediatric First Aid is preferred but not essential (assistance with obtaining this is available).
