Hours

About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist, you will assess and treat patients with complex rehabilitation needs, supporting their recovery journey. You will develop comprehensive discharge plans and liaise with community services to ensure continuity of care. Working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) including physiotherapists, neuropsychologists, speech and language therapists, and social workers, you will contribute to service development, audits, and training to ensure high-quality and innovative rehabilitation approaches. You will supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and engage in reflective practice to enhance your professional growth. A key responsibility is to keep people safe from harm and protect their human rights.

Experience
Experience working with patients with complex rehabilitation needs is desirable. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team is essential.

Compassionate and motivated professional committed to supporting patient recovery and wellbeing. Strong communication and organisational skills with a proactive approach to service development and reflective practice. Ability to supervise and mentor Occupational Therapy Assistants.
Qualifications
Registered Occupational Therapist with relevant professional qualifications and registration. Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to professional standards and safeguarding practices.
