About the Role
We are recruiting an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our Information Contact and Assessment Service during an exciting period of transformative change in occupational therapy. This role focuses on promoting and maintaining independence for vulnerable and disabled service users by assessing and providing equipment and adaptations. You will assess the functional needs of service users and their carers in line with relevant legislation and departmental policy, and write recommendations for simple major adaptations such as level access showers and stairlifts. This position supports the integration of health and social care and contributes to the ambitious goals of the Lambeth 2030 Plan.

Requirements

Experience
Enthusiastic, professional, and hardworking individuals are encouraged to apply. Experience in occupational therapy support or related health and social care roles is desirable but not essential.

About you
You should be motivated to support vulnerable and disabled service users, with a commitment to promoting independence and wellbeing. You will need to work effectively within a team and adapt to the evolving landscape of health and social care integration.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or training in occupational therapy assistance or related fields are advantageous but not mandatory. A willingness to learn and develop professionally within the role is essential.
