About the Role
Square Enix is a leading publisher of entertainment content, known for iconic franchises such as Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Dragon Quest, NieR, Life is Strange, and Just Cause. Our mission is to create and deliver experiences that resonate deeply with the hearts and minds of our players. You will work as part of a team under the supervision of the QA Coordinator; finding, reporting and working through errors in the assigned game; following test plans and completing assigned tasks on time. You will also execute other duties under the leadership of the QA management. Please note this role is a fixed term contract.

Experience
- Game testing and proofreading
- Identifying and reporting linguistic errors and in-game defects
- General quality assurance tasks including checking anything linked to the game (e.g. website, companion app)

About you
- Excellent native German language skills with a good eye for detail
- Good communication skills in English
- Knowledge about role-playing games and console games
- Clear communication (spoken and written)
- Able to work methodically and logically
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Desirable
- Knowledge of MMORPGs, especially Final Fantasy XIV
- Previous industry experience in QA testing
- A lively interest in computer games
