InnovationRCA is looking for a dynamic and organized Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our incubator and accelerator programs. This is a fixed term role, to cover the maternity leave of the current postholder. This role is available from April 2024 for up to a year (please note this role could end sooner if the substantive post holder returns earlier than expected). This role is based at our state-of-the-art facility at Battersea (working 4 days office/1 day home). Key Responsibilities: Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience in operations management and customer service. Strong leadership and team management skills. Knowledge of data protection legislation and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team. Logistics and Operations: Oversee the smooth and safe operation of InnovationRCA ensuring the logistics and customer service levels (to all stakeholders) are high. This includes overseeing the safe operation of the InnovationRCA Light maker Studio space. Information Asset Ownership: Act as the Information Asset Owner (IAO) for InnovationRCA and AngelClubRCA’s information, ensuring compliance with Data Protection Legislation and best practices. Startup Incubation: Oversee and manage all aspects of startup tenancies, chair the IRCA-Start-up Committee, and ensure the smooth running of the incubator. Resource Management: Facilitate, coordinate, plan, and deploy resource requirements within budget. Act as a focal point for liaison with start-ups and central College functions. Team Management: Lead and manage administrative and freelance staff, ensuring effective service delivery and collaboration across all activities. Set up and manage House Rules taking the lead in Health and Safety matters and overseeing and guiding start-up compliance with the Rules. Talent Acquisition: The Innovation RCA Operations Manager will also help InnovationRCA find, attract and recruit the best talent into the accelerator and incubator and facilitate delivery of InnovationRCA’s IP Support programme, High-Growth Start-up Incubation, Creative Brands Accelerator and First50 Scale-ups programme.
