About the Role
Operations is the heart and soul of everything Amazon does. It is thanks to effective operations that items are processed and dispatched to customers on time. As an Operations Supervisor in Quick Commerce, you will have the opportunity to see how all parts of operations work together and play a key role in ensuring everything runs smoothly. You will be the first point of contact for team members during their shift, helping them follow the processes set by management. This hands-on role provides experience using the tools and systems that drive operational success.

Your responsibilities will include measuring and monitoring workflows, tracking onsite performance, and providing shift information to frontline management to ensure operational excellence. You will support and train employees to deliver excellent service and supervise their daily tasks. Additionally, you will assist the Shift/Area Manager with projects aimed at improving processes, cultivating a safe working environment, and increasing workforce engagement. Collaborating with other departments, you will help find solutions to common issues and support needs in key performance areas. Using data analysis, you will identify opportunities to optimize safety, quality, and productivity.

A typical day involves supporting the Shift/Area Manager to execute the shift plan, leading pre-shift meetings, monitoring safety and quality procedures, and ensuring the priority plan is followed. You will escalate issues as needed and sometimes act as the most senior person on shift, providing direction to the team. You will also assist in shift planning to ensure adequate staffing during peak times.

Quick Commerce delivers ultra-fast convenience through a network of small warehouses in city center locations, partnering with last-mile delivery providers to fulfill orders within 30 minutes. The team operates with a people-first approach across morning and afternoon shifts, seven days a week. The delivery network primarily uses Amazon Flex partners on e-bikes optimized for rapid urban delivery. The team continuously innovates to improve customer experience, focusing on sustainable delivery solutions while maintaining strict quality and food safety standards. This role combines Amazon's retail and logistics expertise in a collaborative environment that encourages creative problem-solving and continuous improvement.
