About the Role
Operations is the heart and soul of everything Amazon does. As an Operations Supervisor in Quick Commerce, you will play a key role in ensuring that items are processed and dispatched to customers on time. You will be the first point of contact for team members during their shift, helping them follow established processes and supporting smooth operations.
This is a hands-on role where you will gain experience using the tools and systems that drive operational success. Your responsibilities will include measuring and monitoring workflows, tracking onsite performance, and providing shift information to frontline management to maintain operational excellence.
You will support and train employees to deliver excellent service and supervise their daily tasks. Additionally, you will assist the Shift/Area Manager with projects aimed at improving processes, fostering a safe working environment, and increasing workforce engagement. Collaboration with other departments to resolve common issues and support operational needs will also be part of your role.
Using data analysis, you will identify opportunities to optimize safety, quality, and productivity.
A typical day involves supporting the Shift/Area Manager in executing the shift plan, leading pre-shift meetings, monitoring adherence to safety and quality standards, and prioritizing daily tasks. You may be the most senior person on shift at times, providing direction and escalating issues as needed. You will also help plan shifts to ensure adequate staffing during peak periods.
The Quick Commerce team delivers ultra-fast convenience through a network of small urban warehouses, partnering with last-mile delivery providers to fulfill orders within 30 minutes. The team operates with a people-first approach, working across morning and afternoon shifts seven days a week. The role combines Amazon’s retail and logistics expertise to continuously innovate and improve customer experience while maintaining high standards of quality and food safety.
