About the Role
Operations is the heart and soul of everything Amazon does. It is thanks to effective operations that items are processed and dispatched to customers on time. As an Operations Supervisor in Quick Commerce, you will be the first point of contact for team members during their shift, helping them follow the processes set by management. This hands-on role provides experience using the tools and systems that drive operational success.

Your key responsibilities will include measuring and monitoring workflows, tracking onsite performance, and providing shift information to frontline management to ensure operational excellence. You will support and train employees to deliver great service and supervise their daily tasks. Additionally, you will assist the Shift/Area Manager with projects aimed at improving processes, cultivating a safe working environment, and increasing workforce engagement.

You will collaborate with other departments to address common issues and support needs in key performance areas. Using data analysis, you will identify opportunities to optimize safety, quality, and productivity.

A typical day involves supporting the Shift/Area Manager to execute the shift plan, leading pre-shift meetings, monitoring safety and quality procedures, and ensuring the priority plan is followed. You will escalate issues as needed and sometimes act as the most senior person on shift, providing direction to complete tasks. You will also assist in shift planning to ensure adequate team coverage during peak times.

Quick Commerce delivers ultra-fast convenience through a network of small warehouses in city center locations, partnering with last-mile delivery providers to get products to customers in 30 minutes or less. The operation combines creative thinking and technological innovation to fulfill urgent shopping missions, offering a curated selection of grocery items and Amazon essentials. The team operates with a people-first approach, working across morning and afternoon shifts seven days a week.

The delivery network primarily uses Amazon Flex partners on e-bikes optimized for rapid urban delivery. The team continuously innovates to improve customer experience, focusing on sustainable delivery solutions while maintaining strict quality and food safety standards.
