As an Optical Assistant, you will be at the heart of the customer experience. You will welcome customers into the store, guide them through frame and lens choices, and bring our brand, craft, and values to life. Combining technical expertise with warmth and enthusiasm, you will help create memorable experiences for every customer while supporting the smooth and collaborative running of the store.

Your key responsibilities will include delivering exceptional service at every stage of the customer journey, communicating the Cubitts brand story and values, assisting with frame and lens selection, accurately dispensing prescription and non-prescription lenses, performing frame adjustments and basic repairs, introducing our Made to Measure service, maintaining a clean and organised store environment, following GDPR and patient confidentiality guidelines, and collaborating closely with your team and other departments to foster a supportive environment.

Experience
Previous experience in a retail customer-facing role is required.
