About the Role
Thrive is a rapidly growing technology solutions provider specialising in Cloud, Cyber Security, Networking, Disaster Recovery and Managed Services. We pride ourselves on a customer-centric approach, engineering talent, and delivering next-generation services. As an Order Management Coordinator within the Projects team, you will be the vital link between sales, project delivery, and clients. You will manage the entire order lifecycle, ensuring project-related orders are processed accurately, tracked efficiently, and delivered on time. This role suits someone who thrives on organisation, enjoys solving logistical challenges, and values collaboration within a dynamic team environment.
Your responsibilities will include processing incoming project orders with precision, managing orders from initiation to delivery and reconciliation, and proactively resolving any blockers to keep projects on schedule. You will collaborate closely with Project Managers, Sales, Finance, Procurement, and Operations to ensure smooth handoffs and clear communication of order status to all stakeholders including third parties and clients. Additionally, you will troubleshoot discrepancies, delivery delays, or supplier issues with a solutions-oriented mindset, identify opportunities to improve order management workflows, maintain accurate documentation and reporting, and own the offboarding process working with internal teams and third parties. You will also work alongside the Project Coordinator to gain insight into project delivery and provide assistance as needed.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in order management, order operations, or a similar role within a project-based environment.
About you
Impeccable attention to detail with the ability to catch what others miss.
Strong organisational skills capable of managing multiple orders and priorities simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-friendly approach.
A proactive, "no-surprises" mindset that anticipates issues before they arise.
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications are advantageous but not explicitly required; a strong work ethic and commitment to accuracy and collaboration are essential.
