About the Role
Bloom & Wild is a leading direct-to-consumer flower and gifting company, proud to be a certified B Corp committed to positive change for people and the planet. Founded in 2013, we have grown to become Europe’s largest flower business, expanding into gifting categories like cakes, candles, and cocktails. Our Brand & Creative team is a vibrant group of 15 creative thinkers responsible for global brand strategy and creative output across multiple disciplines including brand management, creative concepting, art direction, copywriting, production, physical product design, packaging, and communications.
We are seeking an Own Brand Packaging & Product Artworker to join our Brand & Creative team on a fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Lead Physical Product Designer, you will provide technical artwork and production expertise to scale our own-brand design programme. You will extend established design systems confidently by creating SKU variants, format adaptations, and size derivatives without requiring designer input for every version. You will prepare production-ready files to exacting standards and help codify design guidelines for product subcategories, applying them independently and working closely with the Own Brand Product Designer and Lead Physical Product Designer.
Responsibilities include preparing print-ready artwork for packaging formats such as boxes, sleeves, wraps, labels, tubes, tins, and tissue; managing artwork to supplier specifications including bleeds, colour profiles, dielines, and technical tolerances; liaising with print suppliers on technical queries and proof sign-off; maintaining the own-brand artwork library with version control and asset management; and supporting the growth of the range and design system.
We value precision, system thinking, print expertise, pace, organisation, collaboration, and a proactive approach to using AI and automated workflows to work smarter. This role is essential for ensuring high-quality, consistent, and scalable packaging artwork that supports our expanding gifting range.
Experience
- Hands-on knowledge of print production including CMYK and Pantone colour management, dielines, bleeds, traps, and ink coverage.
- Experience preparing print-ready artwork files for various packaging formats.
- Ability to manage multiple live files and projects efficiently.
- Comfortable working within and helping to build design systems.
- Experience liaising with print suppliers and managing technical specifications.
About you
- Obsessively accurate with strong attention to detail.
- Strong judgement to know when to work independently and when to escalate to designers.
- Collaborative and proactive communicator.
- Comfortable working at pace and managing competing priorities.
- Enthusiastic about leveraging AI and automated tools to improve workflows.
- Passionate about brand, design, and delivering high-quality packaging artwork.
Qualifications
No specific qualifications required, but relevant experience in print production and packaging artwork is essential. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and alignment with Bloom & Wild’s values are highly valued.
