About the Role
As the Personal Assistant to the Deputy Chief Nursing Officer (DCNO) for Professional & System Leadership, you will provide high-level administrative and organisational support. Your key responsibilities will include managing a complex diary with competing priorities, coordinating travel arrangements, preparing meeting agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items. You will handle internal and external correspondence, ensuring accurate and timely dissemination of information to relevant parties. Additional duties include general administrative support such as filing, data entry, photocopying, and supporting other administrative staff as needed. Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information is essential. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with a wide range of individuals both internally and externally. Strong organisation and time management skills are vital to manage workload, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines efficiently.
Secondments
Applicants from within the NHS will be considered on a secondment basis only. Agreement should be obtained from their current employer prior to submitting an application.
Experience
Proven experience in diary management, meeting coordination, and handling correspondence in a busy professional environment is essential. Experience supporting senior executives or leadership teams is highly desirable.
