About the Role
Join a small supportive team at Oak Furnitureland as a Payroll Administrator. You will work alongside the Payroll Manager and Payroll Executive to support the daily input, payroll processing, and administrative duties for weekly and monthly payroll cycles. This role requires working efficiently and accurately to ensure all colleagues are paid correctly and on time. You will be responsible for processing a weekly payroll for over 1000 employees, checking timesheets, managing starters and leavers, calculating statutory payments, and resolving payroll queries. Attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to meet tight deadlines as part of a team are essential.

Requirements

Experience
- Ideally some payroll experience in a fast-paced environment
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Experience with accounting systems is preferable

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good level of English, numeracy and IT skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team and meet tight deadlines while maintaining confidentiality

Qualifications
No specific qualifications required, but relevant payroll experience and IT skills are advantageous.
