We have exciting opportunities to further your career in pensions administration as a Consultant in our Winchester office.
As a Consultant in our pensions administration department, you will have day-to-day responsibility for our clients and the teams that carry out the work for them. You will liaise with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure a high-quality service is delivered, while ensuring client management aligns with the strategic direction set by the client partner.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing work produced and checked by junior team members, including method, arithmetic, and overall reasonableness
- Ensuring all compliance matters are completed on time and standard letters are kept up-to-date
- Staying informed on the latest legislative and client-specific changes, ensuring scheme events are well planned and resourced
- Taking responsibility for the client relationship and building rapport with their contacts
- Identifying and presenting new commercial opportunities for the business
- Understanding the client’s fee basis and attitude towards fees
- Managing monthly billing, monitoring project budgets, and ensuring timely delivery within budget
- Attending client meetings and networking events as appropriate
- Representing the department across the wider business
- Actively sharing knowledge through training and information sharing

Experience
- Demonstrable Defined Benefit (DB) pensions administration experience within a similar setting
- Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of DB pension schemes
