About the Role
This is your opportunity to make a real impact in healthcare by providing innovative, efficient solutions and processes to Carnall Farrar’s People team, supporting one of the leading healthcare strategy consultancies in the UK and globally. As a People Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date People function systems and delivering efficient, effective People processes. Your role includes ensuring accuracy and efficiency of HR and Learning Management Systems (LMS), supporting coordination of People activities such as tracking and reporting on key People metrics, scheduling learning and engagement events, and managing pulse checks and bi-annual People Surveys.

This role requires a proactive, flexible, detail-oriented, and highly organised individual with an interest in process improvement. You will have the opportunity for professional development within a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to organisational growth and enhancing the employee experience. This position is initially a 12-month fixed term contract with potential for extension subject to business growth.

Responsibilities
- Maintain the HR system with up-to-date information and report on key People metrics
- Manage simple HR requests and triage administrative queries efficiently
- Administer associate contracts with HR consultant or Chief People Officer input
- Schedule and support pulse surveys and bi-annual People Survey logistics
- Coordinate People-related events, updates, and drop-ins
- Support administration of the twice-yearly Assessment & Development process including scheduling, feedback gathering, and completion tracking
- Collaborate with Resourcing to send competence assessments and drive completion rates
- Remind and chase Development Sponsors for 360 feedback requests
- Manage learning programme logistics, liaise with external training vendors, and support employees with session queries
- Own LMS data, reporting, quarterly content refreshes, and support skills coordination
- Maintain internal SharePoint pages related to learning offerings
- Manage diary and scheduling for the Chief People Officer and People team meetings
- Coordinate People team and senior leadership rotational attendance for drop-ins
- Work closely with wider People and Corporate teams to prioritise leadership time
- Identify and implement improvements in people reporting and processes

Requirements

Experience
- Educated to degree level in a relevant field (e.g., HR, CIPD level 3, Business Management, Finance, Information Systems) or equivalent experience
- Skills in Microsoft Excel to facilitate reporting and basic data analysis
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy and timeliness
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Qualifications
- CIPD level 3 (highly desirable)
- Familiarity with HR and LMS systems, Sage HR highly desirable
- Competent using Claude and other AI tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness

Flexible Working
We follow a hybrid working model balancing in-person connections and remote work. Team members can work from home one day per week as standard, with an additional 44 remote working days per year to enable up to two days per week remote work subject to client needs. Core in-person working hours are 10am to 4pm, allowing flexibility to manage personal schedules.
