About the Service and Team
We are passionate about working closely with residents and vulnerable groups to help maintain their independence and balance support with independent living. About the Role
An exciting apprenticeship opportunity has arisen within the People and Organisational Development Team. This role supports the delivery of our People and Organisational Development strategy, focusing on key priorities for 2024-26. The role is split across core functions of Employee Relations (ER) and Workforce Development.
Our Offer to You
Apprenticeships are offered on a minimum 12-month contract (some longer depending on apprenticeship level), with 23 days paid annual leave, access to an online staff benefits portal including discounts at local and national shops, restaurants, and attractions, plus the opportunity to undertake 3 volunteering days per year in Kingston. The starting salary is £25,999 per annum. We operate a hybrid working model allowing staff to work from various locations, supporting a healthy work-life balance while meeting organisational needs.

Experience

About you
Excellent communication skills, good IT proficiency, strong attention to detail, effective prioritisation skills, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn and develop professionally.
Qualifications
Applicants must hold GCSE level C/equivalent in Maths and English and be able to present original certificates. If not held, applicants must be committed to completing these via functional skills assessments as part of the apprenticeship.

- Must not be enrolled on another funded apprenticeship or further/higher education programme at the start of this apprenticeship.
- Must have the right to work and study in England and meet one of the following:
-- Be a citizen of a country within the European Economic Area (EEA) or have the right to abode in the UK and have been resident in the EEA for at least the previous three years on the first day of the apprenticeship.
-- Be a non-EEA citizen with UK government permission to live in the UK (not for educational purposes) and have been ordinarily resident in the UK for at least the previous three years before the start of learning.
