About the Role
Ready to make a meaningful impact on the people experience behind one of the world's most iconic brands? As the People and Operations (P&O) Business Partner for the Global M&M'S Ecosystem, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the associate experience by partnering with leaders across multiple international markets including the UK, Germany, France, and China. Based in London, you will act as a trusted advisor delivering people solutions that drive business performance, organisational effectiveness, and an exceptional employee experience.
This role offers the opportunity to influence a global, high-performing retail organisation while helping leaders navigate complex people challenges. You will collaborate closely with the M&M'S store leadership to define and implement P&O strategies aligned with business priorities, provide insights on organisational design and effectiveness, and support talent management and development initiatives.
Key responsibilities include leading Mars' signature talent management processes such as performance and development reviews, succession planning, and merit/compensation cycles. You will foster a culture that drives engagement and performance, support impact planning sessions following the Mars Associate Survey, and ensure a transparent and trusted associate experience in partnership with Associate Relations and Rewards experts. Additionally, you will support organisational design and workforce planning efforts by partnering with business leaders, finance, and data teams to monitor key metrics and drive data-led recommendations.

Experience
- Proven relationship-building and influencing skills with experience partnering senior leaders on people-related decisions
- Solid HR/P&O expertise including a good understanding of UK employment law, employment practices, and employee relations
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, competing priorities, and complex employee or organisational matters using sound judgement
- Commercial mindset balancing strategic business needs and operational HR priorities
- Collaborative and culturally curious approach with experience working effectively across multiple geographies and cultures

Qualifications
- HR Business Partner experience is preferred, ideally supported by a background in Employee Relations, Talent, People Operations, or another HR specialist discipline
- Experience working with international stakeholders across Europe and/or Asia is desirable
- Exposure to retail or customer-facing environments, organisational change, consultation processes, and workforce planning initiatives is advantageous
