About the Role
Join Oasis Community Learning, a large and established Multi-Academy Trust of 56 Academies, as our People Service Desk Lead. As part of the Oasis charity, we exist to make a difference and enhance young people’s lives. This is a purpose-led organisation where you can be central to making a real impact.

In this role, you will lead our People Desk Team, a tier 1 HR service providing first line HR advice to employees, academy operation teams, and managers. You will guide and upskill the team, helping them resolve a wide range of HR queries across the employee lifecycle. You will be responsible for ensuring the team meets key SLA’s and KPI’s, delivering excellent service to staff.

This is a relatively new function within our People and Culture team, which includes several Centres of Expertise focused on adding value to operations and supporting key stakeholders in providing exceptional education. You will have the opportunity to continuously improve how the team operates and coach your team to success.

The role is hybrid, based mainly at our Head Office in Waterloo, London, with a focus on team leadership, mentoring, and service excellence.

Experience
Strong HR generalist background with experience mentoring and coaching a small team (currently 4 members). Ideally, experience working in a shared service or help desk environment. Experience in charities, public sector, or education settings across multiple sites is desirable.

Proven ability to manage and develop a team, with knowledge of HR systems and ideas to enhance service delivery.
