About the Role
Join Oasis Community Learning, a large Multi-Academy Trust of 56 Academies and part of the Oasis charity, dedicated to making a difference and enhancing young people’s lives. This role leads the People Desk Team within the People and Culture function, providing first line HR advice to employees, academy operation teams and managers. As a tier 1 HR service, you will guide and upskill your team to deliver excellent service across a wide range of HR queries spanning the employee lifecycle. You will help the team meet key SLA’s and KPI’s and continuously look for ways to improve operations and service delivery. This is a new and evolving function where your coaching and leadership will be central to the team’s success and development.

Experience
Strong HR generalist background with experience mentoring and coaching a small team (currently 4). Ideally worked in a similar environment such as charities, public sector or education across multiple sites. Experience in a shared service or help desk environment is desirable, bringing knowledge and ideas to enhance systems and processes.
