About the Role
Royal Greenwich Integrated Commissioning are recruiting for a Personalised Commissioning Officer to join our Children’s Services workforce. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping vulnerable children and eager to be part of a motivated team working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. The Personalised Commissioning Team identifies solutions that support children to receive stable, loving care in a place they can call home, ensuring they are in safe and nurturing environments. You will build collaborative relationships with social workers and providers in the children’s care market, sourcing and negotiating bespoke packages of accommodation, care, and support for children.
The successful candidate will lead and manage the commissioning of individual support packages, working closely with children’s social workers, service leaders in social care, and a range of independent and voluntary sector providers, including independent fostering agencies, supported accommodation, and residential homes. You will develop relationships and secure provision that meets Greenwich’s requirements and standards.
Join us to make a difference to children’s futures and support a new vision for commissioning in Children’s Services. The Royal Borough of Greenwich Council and the South East London Integrated Care Board have created an integrated approach to commissioning services within Greenwich, developing a long-term vision with residents and partners to improve the lives of children, young people, and their families.
