About the Role
The Pharmacy Technician will develop and maintain strong working relationships with community pharmacists and other local healthcare providers. You will plan and organise your own workload, including audit and project work, as well as training sessions for the practice team, community nurse team, patients, and carers. The role involves recording personally generated information and maintaining a detailed database of all work undertaken within the practice(s). This includes audit and clinical work records, clinical and technical reference notes, and up-to-date documentation of all accountable activities. You will be expected to maintain professional registration as a pharmacy technician and comply with relevant professional codes. Additional duties commensurate with the post holder’s grade may be assigned by the line manager.
Experience
Experience working as a registered pharmacy technician within a healthcare or community setting is desirable to effectively manage audits, projects, and training sessions.
