About the Role
We are recruiting an experienced multi-skilled Plasterer, ideally with experience working within social housing or local authority environments. You will undertake plastering and other trade repairs and maintenance work, delivering high quality, 'right first time', cost-effective building services to the business and its customers. Your responsibilities will include plaster boarding, skimming/bonding, external rendering, and potentially basic carpentry or other trade tasks. You will conduct work in accordance with current legislation, British Standards, Codes of Practice, safe systems of work, and recognised industrial standards, minimizing damage to the fabric of the property.

As part of your role, you will be provided with a company vehicle and fuel card for working hours. Full uniform, all required PPE, and the latest handheld technology will also be supplied. You will have access to regular employee forums and feedback groups to support your engagement and development.

Experience
Proven experience as a multi-skilled Plasterer, preferably within social housing or local authority environments. Competency in plaster boarding, skimming/bonding, external rendering, and associated trade tasks. Experience with basic carpentry or other trades is advantageous.

Qualifications
NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent in plastering or relevant trade. Abrasive Wheel training and PASMA qualification are preferable. Ability to read construction drawings is desirable.

You must have a high level of skill and professionalism, with a commitment to delivering quality work safely and efficiently. A full manual UK driving licence is essential as you will be provided with a company van for work hours. You will work in compliance with legislation, British Standards, Codes of Practice, and safe systems of work. A positive attitude towards teamwork, health and safety, and continuous improvement is important.
