Plumber Multi Trade
Location
Lambeth & Southwark and surrounding South London area. Reporting office: River House, Sidcup DA14.
Hours
Full Time - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. Call outs on a rota basis.
Salary
£39,707 per year (Grade 5)
About the Role
Join our South repairs team as an experienced Plumber within the in-house Maintenance Service covering South London. You will be responsible for all aspects of plumbing repairs and replacements including sinks, water tanks, and bathrooms. In addition to plumbing, you will apply your skills in basic carpentry, tiling, painting/decorating, and patch plastering repairs.
Effective communication skills and experience working in a building and/or housing maintenance environment with knowledge of varied housing stock are essential. Customer satisfaction is paramount at L&Q; as a first line of contact for residents, you will deliver outstanding customer service and a right first-time approach, limiting follow-ons and increasing satisfaction.

Experience
- Sound working trade knowledge and experience, NVQ or qualified through experience.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a social housing environment is an advantage.
- Experience in a wide range of multi trade skills.

- Manual driving licence is essential as the role requires mobility (a van will be provided for business use).

Qualifications
- Unvented qualification is desirable.
- Successful candidate will need to apply for or hold a Basic/Enhanced Disclosure Barring Service certificate (DBS) to work within the team.
