About the Role
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented communications professional to join Amazon's International Policy and Press Communication (IPPC) team. This role sits at the intersection of content strategy, channels development, and community engagement, supporting the mission to communicate Amazon's impact across Europe. The successful candidate will generate content for the About Amazon EU site and owned channels, coordinate the About Amazon internal community, amplify policy and executive messaging on social channels, support Luxembourg-specific communications, and produce a daily EU policy headlines newsletter. This high-visibility role requires strong writing and editorial judgement, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
- Generate new content suitable for the About Amazon website, social media, and other owned channels, including articles, threads, graphics, and short-form video concepts.
- Collaborate with multiple local and central teams to identify and propose content and amplification opportunities, ensuring consistent tone, timely posting, and alignment with broader communication strategies.
- Organise and facilitate monthly community calls: set agendas, develop content, recruit speakers, address questions, and run refresh sessions on existing knowledge areas.
- Support the Luxembourg PR Manager to amplify Luxembourg-specific content on social policy communication channels.
- Monitor key policy publications, regulatory developments, and media coverage across the EU.
- Develop and distribute the daily EU headlines newsletter to internal stakeholders, providing concise, accurate, and actionable summaries.

About the Team
The International Policy and Press Communications team communicates Amazon's policy positions, economic contributions, and societal impact to external audiences across Europe. Working at the intersection of public policy, media relations, and digital communications, the team partners with country teams, business lines, and corporate functions to tell Amazon's story to policymakers, opinion leaders, and the public.

Requirements

Experience
- Managing social media accounts for large brands with wide reach (50k+ followers)
- Writing, editing, and curating content for diverse audiences across multiple formats
- Organising and managing recurring workstreams such as daily newsletters, monthly calls, and weekly site updates with minimal supervision
- Using content management systems (CMS), newsletter and analytics tools, and social media management platforms
- Monitoring media and synthesising large volumes of information quickly
- Facilitating virtual communities of practice or internal knowledge-sharing forums
- Working cross-functionally with multiple teams and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

About You
- Fluent in English (speaking, writing, and reading)
- Strong organisational skills and editorial judgement
- Interest in learning about AI tools and their applicability
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to collaborate effectively across teams
- Preferred: Fluent in French and/or German
- Preferred: Familiarity with Amazon's business lines or similar corporate structures

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Political Science, Journalism, European Studies, or related field
- Experience in professional communications or public relations is preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of the EU policy and regulatory landscape, including key European institutions
- Experience with social networks or newsletter/publishing platforms is advantageous
