About the Role
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity based in London with the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). The role supports a flexible, hybrid working model requiring a minimum of 8 days per month on site, with flexibility up to 12 days depending on business needs. The position focuses on leading the development and delivery of cross-cutting innovation policy and regulatory strategy to enable responsible innovation and improve patient access to innovative healthcare products. You will manage governance and procedural frameworks supporting Innovation Accelerator regulatory pathways, including risk registers and performance reporting. Acting as project manager, you will lead policy-based projects, coordinate resources, and develop proposals for efficient delivery. Monitoring the broader policy landscape, you will conduct analysis and provide evidence-based advice and briefings to senior leaders. Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders is key to ensuring alignment with MHRA’s ambitions and supporting project delivery.
Experience
- Demonstrable experience managing complex programmes across multiple stakeholders
- Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to align delivery with broader system objectives and policy context
- Experience delivering on policy from issue definition through stakeholder engagement to completion
- Desirable: Experience of the UK health system and/or Life Sciences sector

Qualifications
- Desirable: Educated to bachelor's degree level in a scientific discipline
