About the Role
The Football Association (The FA) is seeking a Portfolio Analyst to play a key role within the Governance & Transformation team in the Digital division. You will be responsible for shaping and enhancing digital portfolio analysis and reporting across the organisation, delivering meaningful insights, maintaining high-quality portfolio data, and ensuring stakeholders have access to accurate and timely information. This fixed-term contract runs until 31st July 2027.

Your responsibilities will include coordinating and consolidating monthly divisional reporting inputs from Pods, Product Lines, and Practices; producing executive-ready reporting packs, dashboards, and presentation materials for leadership reviews and governance forums; validating reporting submissions for completeness and accuracy; and maintaining reporting templates and documentation.

You will manage and maintain portfolio and product line Smartsheet solutions, support data integrations and automated reporting processes, monitor data quality, maintain risk logs and milestone tracking, and support continuous improvements to reporting processes.

Additionally, you will assist in the development and migration of reporting dashboards and visualisations into Power BI, working closely with Data, Product, and Governance teams to define requirements and develop meaningful portfolio metrics and executive dashboards. You will identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve self-service access.

Strong stakeholder engagement is essential, as you will act as a central coordination point for portfolio reporting activities, support governance meetings, and provide administrative support to the Portfolio Management function.

The role requires compliance with company policies and a DBS check as part of The FA's commitment to a safe environment for everyone involved in football.

Experience
- Developing reports and dashboards using Smartsheets and Power BI
- Producing management information, reports, or executive presentations
- Strong PowerPoint skills for senior leadership reporting packs
- Working with Excel and reporting data
- Managing multiple deadlines and reporting cycles simultaneously
- Stakeholder management and communication skills
