- Deliver always-on press office activity and support the planning and execution of upweighted PR campaigns.
- Develop media relationships and cultivate new contacts within consumer media, pitching to journalists to achieve quality positive placements across print, broadcast and online media.
- Research and write press releases, media pitches, inspirational content, customer communications, internal comms copy, briefing documents, Q&As and other campaign content.
- Monitor the media landscape to identify relevant news, trends and opportunities, and track coverage to identify potential reputational issues.
- Capture and evaluate all press coverage, producing monthly reporting of PR activity performance against agreed KPIs for awareness, consideration and commercial targets.
- Support the management of media enquiries and interview requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Collaborate with agencies and internal teams to align PR activity with wider marketing objectives and industry-wide campaigns.
Experience
- Experience working in a consumer PR role, supporting the delivery of PR campaigns, press office activity and media relations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop compelling content for a range of audiences and channels.
- Experience drafting press releases, media pitches, briefing documents, Q&As and other PR and communications materials.
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with journalists and media contacts, with an existing network of relevant consumer media contacts.
- Experience pitching stories and securing coverage across print, broadcast and online channels.
- Strong understanding of the media landscape and the ability to identify relevant news, trends and opportunities.
- Experience monitoring and evaluating media coverage and producing reports against agreed objectives and KPIs.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality work.
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with the confidence to take ownership of tasks and identify opportunities to improve results.
- Customer-focused with a genuine interest in PR, communications and consumer marketing.
About you

- Experience working with PR, creative or media agencies is desirable.
