About the Role
As a Principal Cybersecurity Architect at JPMorgan Chase within Cybersecurity and Tech Controls, you will serve as a senior technical leader responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the firm's cybersecurity architecture. You will provide expertise to enhance and develop architecture platforms based on modern cloud-based technologies and support the adoption of strategic global solutions. Leveraging your advanced architecture capabilities, you will identify, create, and communicate risk, mitigation options, and solutions, ensuring that security strategies and solutions align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. You will collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and external partners across the organization to safeguard applications and data and drive best-in-class outcomes.

Key responsibilities include advising cross-functional teams on technology selection to achieve target state cybersecurity, developing multi-year roadmaps aligned with business and architecture strategy, creating complex and scalable secure application and infrastructure architecture frameworks across heterogeneous environments including public cloud, and developing secure, high-quality, production-ready code to create proof-of-concept security solutions. You will serve as the function's go-to subject matter expert and drive thought leadership within the product line, contribute to the development of technical methods in cybersecurity aligned with the latest product development methodologies, and create durable, reusable security architecture patterns that improve security, velocity, and quality of output across teams and functions.

Experience
- Hands-on practical experience with zero-trust cybersecurity architecture applicable across business functions and systems
- Expertise in one or more programming languages
- Deep expertise in cybersecurity principles and practices
- Advanced knowledge in network security, identity management, and access management
- Advanced knowledge of software architecture, application development, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., public cloud, AI/ML, mobile)
- Practical cloud native experience
- Experience leading a product as a product owner or product manager
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage technical teams
