We are seeking an experienced Principal Full Stack Engineer to lead L2/L3 support teams across diverse applications and ecosystems. This role requires a technical authority who drives best practices, ensures high-quality service delivery, provides leadership and mentoring, and builds strong relationships with stakeholders across the business. Ideal candidates will have experience in managed service operations, proficiency in multiple programming languages, and cloud platform expertise.

Experience
- Acting as the highest technical escalation point within a managed service function
- Setting and maintaining engineering standards across teams
- Leading management and resolution of complex L2/L3 incidents
- Conducting root cause analysis and post-incident investigations for major incidents
- Owning service onboarding from a technical readiness perspective
- Participating in an on-call rota including out-of-hours incident response
- Mentoring and supporting engineers at all experience levels
- Collaborating with service delivery colleagues to manage client relationships

Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in at least two of the following languages: Java, Python, Node.js, or C#
- Hands-on cloud architecture experience with AWS or Azure
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
- Understanding of ITIL practices
- Recent experience leading engineering teams

Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of highly available architectures
- Experience with Postgres or other relational database systems
- Exposure to front-end technologies such as React.js
- Experience working in public sector or regulated data environments
