About the Role
Amazon Logistics aims to build a world-class last mile operation, exceeding customer expectations by delivering orders quickly, accurately, and cost-effectively. The European Amazon Logistics team is seeking an experienced, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Process Engineer to drive standardization, integrate the latest technologies in Delivery Stations, and propose new innovation initiatives.
As a member of the EU Amazon Logistics Engineering team, you will design new Delivery Stations and support process optimization and technology integration in legacy sites to improve safety, customer experience, quality, and cost. You will act as a key point of contact for your area of responsibility, frequently partnering with local Operations teams and other operational support functions.
This role requires deep customer focus, strong self-motivation, and exceptional project management skills. You will communicate regularly with customers and project sponsors at both European and country levels, working closely across functional business and technical teams.
Key responsibilities include driving new site designs and legacy site upgrades from planning to execution, leading technology integration and standardization across EU-wide programs, contributing to network standardization through best practice sharing, providing process expertise on engineering design, and leading strategic initiatives to improve processes and station designs.
A typical day involves leading end-to-end design for new delivery stations, improving existing processes, collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders, producing best-in-class layouts, optimizing stations, presenting to leadership, integrating automation technologies, and developing innovative solutions to complex design challenges.
Our team partners closely with AMZL Operations and support functions to identify, design, and develop best-in-class process infrastructure and layouts, delivering them as EU AMZL network standards. We value mentorship, knowledge sharing, and career growth, assigning projects to support continuous development.
