About the Role
Do you have a passion for governance, compliance and improving procurement operations? Are you looking for an opportunity to shape how one of London's largest housing associations delivers transparent, compliant and value-driven procurement? We are seeking an experienced Procurement Assurance Manager to join the Procurement team at Notting Hill Genesis.
Reporting into the Procurement function, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the organisation complies with the Procurement Act 2023 by leading the development, implementation and ongoing management of procurement assurance, governance and reporting processes. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business, providing expert advice, training and guidance whilst ensuring statutory procurement notices are published accurately and within regulatory timeframes.
This is an exciting opportunity to influence procurement best practice across the organisation, strengthen governance and help embed transparency throughout the entire procurement lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the development and continuous improvement of procurement assurance, reporting processes and compliance frameworks.
- Ensuring compliance with the Procurement Act 2023 and associated public procurement regulations.
- Developing and implementing procedures that support statutory procurement reporting requirements.
- Leading on the publication of procurement notices through the central digital platform within required legislative deadlines.
- Building strong working relationships across directorates, acting as a trusted business partner on procurement assurance and compliance matters.
- Delivering training, guidance and advice to managers and stakeholders on procurement legislation and reporting obligations.
- Analysing procurement data to identify compliance risks, trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Producing insightful reports and recommendations that support informed decision-making.
- Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement information is accurate, timely and compliant.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen governance, transparency and value for money.
- Keeping up to date with changes in procurement legislation and embedding these into organisational policies and procedures.
- Promoting a culture of accountability, compliance and excellent customer service across the organisation.
Experience
- Proven experience developing or managing procurement governance, assurance or compliance processes.
- Strong understanding of procurement reporting requirements and statutory compliance.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and influencing at all organisational levels.
- Strong analytical capability with experience interpreting procurement or performance data.
- Experience improving processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
- CIPS Level 4 qualification or willingness to work towards achieving it.
- Excellent knowledge of Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and a strong understanding of the Procurement Act 2023.
- Pending confirmation of legislative changes, there may be an expectation to study towards a professional qualification if not already qualified.
