The Procurement Group Manager - Production is responsible for leading procurement activities that ensure uninterrupted supply to manufacturing sites while delivering value through cost control, supplier performance, risk management, quality management and process improvement. This role leads the production procurement team and partners closely with operations, planning, quality and logistics teams. It supports procurement strategy execution across the production supply base, focusing on supply continuity, supplier performance, and P2P process effectiveness.
Key responsibilities include ensuring continuity of supply of externally sourced materials and components in line with production requirements, collaborating with key stakeholders to manage escalations related to shortages, quality concerns and supplier disruptions, monitoring and reporting team performance against objectives, driving continuous improvement to enhance productivity and mitigate unplanned delays, leading and developing the procurement team, and supporting the ongoing development and improvement of procurement strategies and procedures aligned with business objectives. The role also involves monitoring supply chains and market information to ensure competitiveness, robustness and risk management, working closely with Supply Chain Development to align supply chains with commodity strategies, and supporting procurement process improvements and staff training.

Qualifications
CIPS qualification or relevant STEM/Business degree would be advantageous but is not essential.
