You will be part of the Technology & Telco Procurement team within the UK Procurement function, working collaboratively as part of the wider European Procurement team. Reporting to the Technology & Telco Team Category Lead, you will operate independently to drive value for Fujitsu by proactively identifying and delivering tangible savings across software and hardware categories.
Your responsibilities will include engaging in complex negotiations for framework agreements and customer agreement flowdowns, collaborating closely with Legal and Commercial colleagues to secure robust, compliant contracts. You will support bid activities, lead the UK technology procurement strategy with support from the Head of UK Procurement, provide category knowledge and commercial expertise as a business partner, and identify spend consolidation or new market and supplier opportunities. Additionally, you will conduct pre-assessment supplier compliance checks for financial health and ensure all procurement activity aligns with industry standards and business needs.
Key activities include:
- Conducting complex negotiations for framework agreements, order schedules, and customer terms
- Securing best value through competitive tenders and negotiation
- Managing end-to-end procurement processes independently
- Collaborating with Legal and Commercial teams to ensure contract compliance
- Supporting bid activities and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Demonstrating strong knowledge of telecommunications and emerging technologies
- Understanding and applying relevant UK regulatory requirements
- Willingness to travel for supplier engagement and relationship management
- Meeting mandatory security clearance requirements (SC level or above)
Experience
- Strong procurement experience, preferably within the Telco category
- Demonstrable knowledge of SaaS agreements
- Advanced negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
- Commercial and financial acumen
- Project management experience in complex environments (desirable but not essential)
- Understanding of compliance, risk, and regulatory frameworks

You are willing to travel as required and meet mandatory security clearance requirements.
Qualifications
CIPS or Contracting and Commercial Management qualifications (or willingness to attain Contracting and Commercial Management – Advanced)
