About the Role
The Lyric Hammersmith Theatre is one of the UK’s leading producing theatres, with over 130 years of history at the heart of Hammersmith. The theatre is nationally recognised for creating pathways into the arts for young talent from diverse backgrounds. As a key member of the Producing Team, the Producer will work closely with the Director of Producing & Planning and the Production Coordinator to deliver the Lyric’s artistic programme. Responsibilities include line producing main house, studio, and touring productions, programming weekend and holiday children’s studio shows (Little Lyric), and managing bespoke, one-off events. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a vibrant and inclusive theatre environment committed to artistic excellence and community engagement.
Experience
Proven experience in line producing or producing theatre productions, including main house, studio, and touring shows. Experience programming children’s theatre and managing bespoke events is desirable.
About you
Passionate about theatre and committed to fostering diversity and inclusion within the arts. Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a producing team. Enthusiastic about supporting young talent and engaging with a broad range of communities.
Qualifications
Relevant professional experience in theatre production is essential. Formal qualifications in theatre production or related fields are advantageous but not mandatory.
